Biryani is a special recipe all over India. Especially Muslims use to cook it too often on every occasion. Not just Muslims, everybody likes to eat biryani. Biryani becomes the traditional food of the Indian people. It is cook with all the  Indian spices, rice, and meat. It tastes too yummy and amazing.

Let's get into this recipe.

Ingredient:

Chicken: 1 kg
Ginger garlic paste: 3tbsp
Garam masala: 1 tsp
Lemon Juice: 1 tsp
Red chili powder: 1 & 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder: 1/2 tsp
Curd: 300 grams
Salt: According to your preference
Fried onion: 2 tbsp
Fresh coriander leaves: 2 tbsp
Fresh mint leaves: 2 tbsp
Green chili paste: 1 tsp
Ghee: 2 tbsp
Basmati rice: 1 kg
Oil: 5 tbsp
Ghee: 2 tsp

biryani recipe Ramadan Method:

Step 1: Wash the rice properly for 3-4 times so that the starch in the rice removes completely and soak the rice in water for 1 hour.

Step 2: To get a proper taste of chicken in biryani, Let's marinate it. To marinate chicken, take a mixing bowl to add chicken, ginger garlic paste, Garam masala, Lemon Juice, Red chili powder, Turmeric powder, Curd, Salt(According to your preference), Fried onion, Fresh coriander leaves, Fresh mint leaves, and Green chili paste to it. Give them a good mix and keep it aside for 20 minutes.

Step 3: Now Take a kadhai, add 5 tbsp of oil to it. Heat it on high flame. Then add marinated chicken, fry the chicken for about 10-15 minutes on high flame. Now keep the flame on low and cover the lid and cook till 80% of the chicken is done. It will take 25-30 minutes to cook.

Step 4:Check the chicken from time to time. After 25-30 minutes, our gravy becomes thicker and chicken also cooked as we need. Now turn off the flame.

Step 5: Its time to cook rice. To cook the rice, boil 3-4 liter of water in a vessel to cook 1 kg rice and add 2-3 tbsp of salt or as per your taste and 2 tsp of ghee to it.

Step 6: Now add rice to the boiling water and cook it on high flame for 15-20 minutes. our rice is cooked well and its time strain the excess of water from rice.

Step 7: In the cooked rice, add the prepared chicken mixture and give it a good mix. Now place a thin cloth over the vessel and close the lid.

Step 8: Now heat the old Tawa and place the biryani vessel on high flame for 5 minutes and then lower the flame again cook for 8-10 minutes. That's it our shahi biryani is ready to serve.
